Technopark continues to augment its emergency preparedness and life-safety systems through the systematic deployment of advanced firefighting and medical response infrastructure across the campus. As part of this initiative, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) units have been provisioned, comprising certified air cylinders, PESO-approved valves, and full-face respiratory protection masks. These systems are designed to enable trained emergency personnel to operate effectively in smoke-laden, oxygen-deficient, or otherwise hazardous environments. In parallel, fully automated External Defibrillator (AED) units are being installed within Technopark-owned facilities to facilitate rapid intervention during cardiac emergencies. Additionally, firefighter protective ensembles compliant with MED/3.3A standards have been deployed to enhance operational safety and resilience during fire suppression and rescue activities. This initiative reflects Technopark’s strategic commitment to strengthening campus-wide safety, risk mitigation, and emergency response capability for employees, tenants, visitors, and all stakeholders. The Chief Technical Officer, Shri Madhavan Praveen, emphasized that safety constitutes a foundational element of resilient infrastructure, underscoring the organization’s focus on not only provisioning state-of-the-art emergency systems but also ensuring operational readiness and effective response under critical conditions. Technopark recognizes that emergency preparedness extends beyond the mere availability of equipment and encompasses the development of trained response mechanisms, institutional confidence, and a robust safety culture across all levels of campus operations.
