Keralam’s proposition to Global Capability Centres is moving decisively from invitation to enablement.
At the second edition of ETGCCWorld SURGE 2026, India’s largest residential GCC summit, held in Kovalam, the Government of Keralam unveiled the Kerala GCC Boilerplate a coordinated framework designed to help global enterprises move faster from evaluating Keralam to establishing and scaling their operations in the State. The initiative was unveiled by Shri PK Kunhalikutty Hon’ble Minister for Industries, IT & AI, in the presence of Shri Seeram Sambasiva . Rao, IAS, Special Secretary, Department of Electronics & IT, Government of Keralam; Shri Sandip Kumar IAS, CEO, Technopark; and Shri Susanth Kurunthil, CEO, Infopark and Cyberpark.
The Kerala GCC Boilerplate brings together key enablers required by enterprises setting up operations, including:
• Plug-and-play office space with up to six months of rent-free operations
• Empanelled partners supporting company setup, technology, talent and business requirements
• An Investment Enablement Officer to guide enterprises from expression of interest through establishment and expansion
The initiative advances Keralam’s ambition to grow from 50+ operational GCCs till 150 GCCs by 2031. The Boilerplate concept was outlined to the GCC leadership by Shri Susanth Kurunthil, highlighting how Keralam is building a coordinated ecosystem to make it easier for global enterprises to establish, operate and scale from the State. From evaluating Keralam to establishing and scaling in Keralam—the journey begins the day you land.
