Technopark resets IT community’s cultural platform ‘Tech A Break’

New logo of flagship cultural event for techies launched

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 20: Technopark has re-launched its cultural initiative ‘Tech A Break,’ the platform for cultural expressions of the tech community with a new logo and promising a slew of programmes ahead.

‘Error 404→ Creativity Found’ is the theme of ‘Tech A Break 2025,’ where IT professionals will showcase their creative talents through a host of exciting programmes and contests.

Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO of Technopark, said it is laudable that ‘Tech A Break’ has been re-launched after a lull in its activities, with a new identity to showcase the creative potential and cultural vibrancy of the artistic IT community.

“The cultural fiesta is meant for fostering the intellectual as well as creative side of techies in the ecosystem. It will bring out their talents to the fore, providing a much-needed respite away from their hectic work schedule,” Col Nair added.

The theme re-imagines the familiar tech error “404” as a metaphor — not for something missing, but for the creativity urge waiting to be expressed again.

‘Tech A Break 2025’ will feature a slew of vibrant mix of programmes and competitions, including hackathon, quiz, painting, music, Capture the Flag (a high-intensity cybersecurity challenge for tech enthusiasts), treasure hunt, short film, comedy skit, music band, fashion show and dance.

It will offer multiple platforms for employees across Technopark to participate, compete and celebrate creativity together. Registration is open now.
