Technopark has launched a Security Guard Patrol Management Platform to strengthen campus safety and improve accountability in security patrolling across all its campuses. Developed by Technopurple IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, the system enables real-time monitoring of patrol activities using GPS-enabled mobile devices, geo-tagged checkpoint verification, and predefined patrol routes and schedules.
A centralized dashboard allows live tracking of patrols, alerts for missed or delayed rounds, vehicle speed monitoring, and access to historical data. Features such as selfie-based verification prevent proxy patrolling, while instant messaging enables real-time communication with on-duty personnel. Security guards can also report incidents from the field with descriptions, photographs, and videos, supporting faster response and improved situational awareness. Daily consolidated patrol reports are automatically generated and shared with Assignment Inspectors and Chief Security Officers, ensuring continuous oversight, particularly across large campuses such as Phase III and Phase IV.
The system was inaugurated at Park Centre, Technopark, on January 8, 2026, by Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd), Chief Executive Officer, Technopark. Chief Technical Officer Shri Madhavan Praveen highlighted the role of digital systems in enhancing operational efficiency and security management, while Shri Azeeb A. K., Assistant Vice President (IT), presented the key features, technological architecture, and operational benefits. Other senior officials were also present at the event.
