Technopark has inaugurated a fully automated Solid Waste Management Plant at its Phase I campus, marking a step forward in sustainable, technology-driven waste management. The facility was officially launched on 8 January 2026 by CEO Col. Sanjeev Nair (Retd).
The plant processes segregated organic waste with minimal manual handling, combining automated material handling, controlled biological processing, and real-time monitoring. It produces nutrient-rich, ready-to-use compost with high NPK value while ensuring hygienic operations and regulatory compliance.
The system reflects Technopark’s focus on in-house, engineering-led sustainability solutions, offering a scalable model for decentralized, campus-level waste treatment. The project was executed by Hi-Tech Bio Fertilizers India Pvt. Ltd., reinforcing Technopark’s commitment to a cleaner, greener IT ecosystem.
