Technopark’s Engineering Laboratory has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) under ISO/IEC 17025:2017, making Technopark the first IT Park in the country to have a NABL-accredited engineering laboratory.
The accreditation strengthens quality assurance across Technopark’s infrastructure and engineering works, enabling quality and performance testing of construction and electrical materials, improved material verification and compliance monitoring, and data-driven engineering decisions. It also enhances reliability in infrastructure development and maintenance and provides technical support and guidance for co-developers.
The Engineering Laboratory, comprising Civil and Electrical Engineering Labs, was established at Technopark Phase I to ensure rigorous quality standards across infrastructure works.
The facilities support testing of concrete and construction materials as per applicable IS specifications, while the electrical laboratory also has provisions for the repair of LED fixtures, drivers and other components, contributing to cost efficiency and reduced e-waste.
Speaking on the achievement, Shri Sandeep Kumar, IAS, CEO, Technopark, congratulated the Engineering Department and support teams for their sustained efforts in securing the accreditation.
Shri Madhavan Praveen, Chief Technical Officer, Technopark, described the accreditation as a significant milestone for the Engineering Department, achieved through sustained effort, dedication and close coordination.
