The Government of Kerala has officially launched the Kerala IT Policy 2026

The Government of Kerala has officially launched the Kerala IT Policy 2026, setting a decisive direction to strengthen the State’s IT ecosystem and position Kerala as a leading global knowledge economy and innovation hub.

The Kerala IT Policy 2026 was released at a public function held at Nishagandhi Auditorium, Thiruvananthapuram on 24th February 2026 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who also holds the IT portfolio. Special Secretary, E&ITD, Seeram Sambasiva Rao IAS, along with the Head of the Institutions, Kerala IT were present.

The policy leverages Kerala’s strong human development indices, pioneering digital infrastructure, inclusive talent and startup ecosystem, and emerging high-tech sectors to drive the next phase of growth.
