Skills and Experience Requirements

• Certification: Mandatory CPC (AAPC), CCS (AHIMA), or equivalent.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Medical Coding across 10000 to 60000 & 90000 CPT series.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Surgery coding; Minimum 1 year of experience as QA/SME in Surgery.

• Strong domain expertise in Surgery and IVR coding, including operative and procedural documentation.

• Specialty Expertise: Orthopedic, Cardio, Podiatric, Gastroenterology, OB/Gyn surgeries and delivery coding.

• Technical Knowledge: Revenue cycle implications, ICD-10-CM, Modifier usage, NCCI edits, CCI bundling, Global periods.

• Work Arrangement: Temporary Work from Home option available; must report to office per client needs.
