AI/ML Associate Architect
Job Summary
We are looking for an AI/ML Associate Architect to design, develop, and guide the implementation of scalable AI and machine learning solutions. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with solution architecture, enabling teams to build reliable, secure, and production-ready AI/ML applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in machine learning, generative AI, cloud platforms, data engineering, and MLOps, along with the ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end AI/ML architectures for enterprise applications and business use cases.
- Evaluate and select appropriate ML models, frameworks, cloud services, and AI technologies.
- Develop and review architectures for Generative AI, LLM, NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation solutions.
- Design RAG-based applications, AI agents, prompt engineering workflows, model evaluation, and LLM integration patterns.
- Define data pipelines, feature engineering, model training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining strategies.
- Establish MLOps/LLMOps practices covering CI/CD, model/version management, experiment tracking, observability, and governance.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud to design scalable AI/ML solutions.
- Assess AI/ML solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, security, privacy, and cost.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical design documents, PoCs, and implementation guidelines.
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, DevOps engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to development teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing applications through AI/ML and GenAI capabilities.
- Stay current with developments in LLMs, foundation models, AI agents, vector databases, model serving, and responsible AI.
Preferred Skills
Required Skills
AI / Machine Learning
- Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning.
- Experience with Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
- Understanding of model training, evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
- Experience with NLP, deep learning, or computer vision.
Generative AI
- Practical experience with LLMs and Generative AI applications.
- Experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, model evaluation, and guardrails.
- Exposure to AI agent architectures and tool/function calling is desirable.
- Familiarity with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent.
Cloud & Architecture
- Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
- Understanding of containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with databases, data lakes/warehouses, and cloud data platforms.
MLOps / LLMOps
- Experience with ML/AI deployment pipelines and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI, or equivalent platforms.
- Understanding of model monitoring, drift detection, observability, and model lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of AI security, data privacy, access control, and responsible AI principles.
