Brief Description
We are seeking a talented Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer with 3–7 years of experience in test automation using Selenium with Java or C#. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure software quality and reliability. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality applications while continuously improving automation frameworks and testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or C#.
- Develop and enhance reusable automation frameworks and test utilities.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end automated test suites.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
- Analyze test execution results and provide detailed reports.
- Ensure adherence to automation best practices, coding standards, and quality processes.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance (Senior Automation Engineer).
Preferred Skills
- 3–7 years of experience in Software Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Proficiency in Java or C#.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience with Git and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of API Testing (REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/SpecFlow) is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
