About the Role

Zybo Tech Lab Pvt Ltd is looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between client requirements and technical execution. This role is not a data-analysis or reporting role — the focus is on understanding client needs, translating them into structured requirement documents, drafting proposals, and coordinating with internal teams from the presales stage through project delivery.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent presentation skills, able to independently engage with clients, act as the primary liaison for capturing and clarifying client requirements, document them clearly (BRD/FRD), and stay involved as the project moves from proposal to execution.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

  • Engage with clients to understand business needs, pain points, and objectives
  • Conduct requirement-gathering sessions (calls, meetings, emails, workshops)
  • Analyze and validate client requirements for feasibility and completeness
  • Act as the primary point of contact (liaison) for client requirements — actively listening to and understanding client needs before documenting them

Documentation

  • Draft and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
  • Prepare process flows, use cases, and requirement traceability matrices as needed
  • Maintain clear, version-controlled documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Proposal & Presales Support

  • Draft client proposals, scope documents, and solution write-ups
  • Support the presales team with requirement clarification, effort estimation inputs, and solution structuring
  • Coordinate with technical/delivery teams to validate proposed solutions before submission

Project Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between the client, presales team, and delivery/project team
  • Track requirement sign-offs, scope changes, and ensure alignment between what was proposed and what is being delivered
  • Support project kick-offs by handing over documented requirements to the execution team
  • Follow up on open items, timelines, and client queries during project execution

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain regular communication with clients on requirement status, proposal updates, and project progress
  • Manage client expectations and escalate risks/gaps proactively

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst (presales/client-facing experience preferred)
  • Strong experience in writing BRD, FRD, and proposal documents
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — must be confident presenting proposals, solutions, and requirement documents to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong active-listening skills to accurately capture client requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple client requirements/projects simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project-tracking tools (preferred)
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills across cross-functional teams

Good to Have

  • Prior experience in an IT services / software company presales environment
  • Basic understanding of SDLC / project management methodologies
  • Experience handling international clients over email and calls

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in a pre-sales or business analysis role within an IT services or software development company is preferred.

  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.

  • Experience communicating with international clients through email, calls, and virtual meetings is an added advantage.

  • Strong professional email-writing skills and the ability to conduct structured client discussions across different time zones.

  • Ability to manage client interactions, proposal deadlines, and cross-functional coordination under pressure.

  • Naturally curious and detail-oriented, with the ability to ask relevant follow-up questions and clarify requirements rather than make assumptions.

  • Confident in presenting ideas, proposals, technical solutions, and requirement clarifications to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear, structured, and persuasive manner.
