About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, Redux, and Redux-Saga to design and define scalable, secure, high-performance software solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust technical architectures, defining technology standards, guiding development teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of enterprise applications. The candidate should possess strong hands-on development experience, architectural decision-making capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and define end-to-end solution architecture for scalable web applications and enterprise software platforms.
  • Translate business requirements and functional specifications into technical architecture, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Define application architecture using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
  • Architect modern frontend applications using React.js, Redux, and Redux-Saga, ensuring maintainability, performance, and scalability.
  • Establish architectural principles, design patterns, coding standards, and technology guidelines.
  • Define API contracts, integration approaches, service boundaries, and communication patterns between systems.
  • Design database schemas, data models, and data access strategies, ensuring performance and data integrity.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, libraries, and third-party solutions.
  • Ensure application security, scalability, availability, reliability, and maintainability across the solution lifecycle.
  • Review technical designs, source code, and implementation approaches to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, architectural bottlenecks, integration challenges, and performance issues.
  • Define strategies for application deployment, configuration management, monitoring, and production support.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, containerization, cloud deployment, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Guide Technical Project Leads and development teams in implementing architectural decisions and resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Work closely with business analysts, product owners, QA engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, proof-of-concept implementations, and technical feasibility assessments.
  • Maintain architecture documentation, solution diagrams, API specifications, and technology decision records.

Required Technical Skills

Backend Architecture

  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed application architectures.
  • Knowledge of design patterns, dependency management, exception handling, and transaction management.

Frontend Architecture

  • Strong understanding of React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Practical experience with Redux and Redux-Saga for application state management and asynchronous workflows.
  • Ability to design reusable component architectures and optimize frontend performance.

Database & Integration

  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, data modelling, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Experience designing integrations with third-party systems, external APIs, and enterprise applications.

Cloud, DevOps & Security

  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, application deployment, and environment management.
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, JWT, API security, and secure coding practices.
  • Familiarity with application monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting.

Architecture & Leadership Competencies

  • Strong analytical thinking and architectural problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs involving scalability, performance, cost, security, and maintainability.
  • Experience preparing high-level and low-level design documents, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and supporting iterative software delivery.
  • Ability to guide multiple development teams and ensure consistency across application modules.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of relevant software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Proven experience designing application architectures using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, Redux, and Redux-Saga.
  • Experience designing scalable web applications, microservices, API integrations, and database solutions.
  • Previous experience in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Senior Technical Lead, or equivalent role is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to make architectural decisions and guide development teams through implementation.
  • Cloud certifications, architecture certifications, or relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
