Brief Description

We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Hardware Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in IoT, embedded systems, and hardware product development to join our team. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting hardware solutions that integrate seamlessly with mobile applications and cloud platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

End-to-End Hardware Development: Independently design, develop, prototype, and validate IoT hardware products, taking ownership from requirements analysis and component selection through testing and production readiness.
Firmware Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize embedded firmware for microcontrollers, ensuring stable operation, efficient resource utilization, and reliable hardware interaction.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Integration: Implement wireless connectivity, device discovery, BLE pairing, Wi-Fi provisioning, network configuration, reconnection handling, and secure communication between devices and applications.
Mobile App-Based Relay Control: Develop and integrate relay control functionality that allows users to switch connected devices on and off through a mobile application, with appropriate status feedback, command validation, and fail-safe behavior.
OTA Update Implementation: Design and maintain reliable OTA firmware update mechanisms, including secure update delivery, version control, integrity verification, rollback support, and recovery procedures.
Circuit Design and Hardware Integration: Prepare circuit schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and hardware prototypes; integrate sensors, relays, power supplies, communication modules, and other electronic components.
Testing, Debugging, and Reliability: Identify and resolve hardware, firmware, connectivity, and integration issues. Conduct functional, stress, power-consumption, and reliability testing to ensure dependable product performance.
Independent Execution and Documentation: Work independently with minimal supervision, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, coordinate with mobile and backend developers when required, and maintain clear technical documentation, test reports, BOMs, and manufacturing-ready design files.

Preferred Skills

Embedded Systems & Microcontrollers: Strong hands-on experience with ESP32, ESP8266, STM32, or similar microcontrollers, including peripheral interfacing and embedded system architecture.
Embedded Firmware Development: Proficiency in C/C++ and experience developing, debugging, and optimizing firmware for real-world hardware products.
Wireless Connectivity: Practical experience implementing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth/BLE connectivity, device pairing, network provisioning, reconnection logic, and communication reliability.
OTA Firmware Updates: Experience implementing secure OTA firmware updates, including firmware version management, update validation, rollback mechanisms, and recovery from failed updates.
Relay & Electrical Control Systems: Experience designing and integrating relay-based switching systems, GPIO controls, optocouplers, MOSFETs, and appropriate driver circuits for controlling electrical loads through mobile applications.
Circuit Design & PCB Development: Proficiency in schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, prototyping, and PCB design tools such as KiCad, Altium Designer, or equivalent.
IoT & Mobile/Cloud Integration: Experience integrating embedded devices with mobile applications and cloud backends using MQTT, HTTP/REST APIs, WebSockets, or similar communication protocols.
Hardware Debugging & Testing: Strong troubleshooting skills using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, serial debugging tools, and relevant hardware testing techniques.

How to Apply: If you are passionate about IoT product development and can independently take an embedded hardware solution from concept to a working product, we would love to hear from you.
