We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer & Software Architect to lead the architecture and development of our next-generation IP camera platform.
The role combines hands-on development, system architecture, and technical leadership, with a strong focus on real-time video, ultra-low-latency streaming, and fast remote connectivity.

Responsibilities
Define the software architecture of the IP camera platform.
Lead the development of embedded Linux camera software.
Design and optimize real-time video pipelines, including capture, encoding, decoding, streaming, and playback.
Develop extremely low-latency video streaming with fast connection establishment.
Design and implement P2P connectivity and NAT traversal, including ICE, STUN, TURN, signaling, and relay mechanisms.
Work with video technologies such as H.264, H.265, RTSP/RTP, WebRTC, and proprietary streaming protocols.
Integrate camera sensors, ISP pipelines, hardware video encoders, and SoC multimedia capabilities.
Integrate and optimize AI-based video event detection and analytics.
Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
Mentor developers and work closely with Hardware, Cloud, Mobile, AI, and Product teams.

Required Experience

  • Strong hands-on development experience in C/C++.
  • Strong experience with embedded Linux.
  • Deep knowledge of video encoding/decoding and real-time streaming.
  • Strong understanding of H.264/H.265, GOP structure, bitrate, buffering, and latency optimization.
  • Strong networking knowledge, including UDP/TCP, NAT traversal, P2P, ICE, STUN, and TURN.
  • Experience building systems requiring very low video latency and fast remote connection establishment.
  • Good understanding of camera sensors, ISP pipelines, and IP camera architecture.
  • Experience with multithreaded, high-performance embedded systems.
  • Strong system architecture, debugging, and technical leadership skills.
  • Advantage - Experience with GStreamer, FFmpeg, V4L2, libcamera, ONVIF, camera SoCs, embedded AI/NPUs, object detection, MQTT, and cloud-connected cameras.
