About the role
At Offrd, we are looking for interns who are interested in more than just writing code.
You will get the opportunity to work on real features and real customer issues. We are looking for someone who is curious about how a product works, willing to ask questions, and interested in understanding the problem before jumping into the solution.
You don't need to know everything before joining us. However, you should have a good foundation in programming and a willingness to learn quickly.
What you will do
· Work on features and improvements for the Offrd platform.
· Assist the engineering team with backend and frontend development.
· Fix bugs and understand the reason behind the issue.
· Work with the product and engineering teams to understand requirements.
· Participate in discussions and share your ideas and suggestions.
· Learn and follow good development practices, including testing and code reviews.
· Work with databases and understand how application data is used.
· Use Git for managing and submitting code changes.
Depending on your skills and the work assigned, you may get exposure to Python, Django, SQL, APIs, frontend development, cloud environments, and AI-assisted development tools.
What we are looking for
Basic requirements
· Good understanding of programming fundamentals.
· Basic knowledge of Python or willingness to learn Python quickly.
· Basic understanding of web applications.
· Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
· Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
· Familiarity with Git is preferred.
Good to have
· Exposure to Django or any other backend framework.
· Experience building a web application or working on a technical project.
· Basic understanding of REST APIs.
· Knowledge of Linux or cloud platforms.
· Previous internship or project experience.

You do not need to have experience in everything listed above. If you have a good foundation, have worked on a few projects, and are willing to learn, we would like to hear from you.
