- Security & Access Control: Enforce database security policies, manage user permissions, and ensure data encryption at rest and in transit.
- Automation: Write and maintain automation scripts (using Shell, Python, or PowerShell) for routine maintenance, deployments, and health monitoring.
- Troubleshooting: Provide timely resolution for database alerts, connectivity issues, and performance degradation tickets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or GCP Cloud SQL).
- Basic exposure to database migration tools and cross-platform data syncing.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Associate, PostgreSQL or MySQL Administrator tracks).
