The role involves identifying business opportunities, developing client and institutional relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and taking business development activities from lead generation to closure.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end business development activities from lead generation to deal closure
• Identify and develop B2B and B2G business opportunities
• Research and identify potential clients, organizations, institutions, and government opportunities
• Generate leads through calls, emails, networking, referrals, events, and other channels
• Initiate contact and build relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders
• Understand client requirements and present relevant products and solutions
• Conduct meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and business documents
• Handle follow-ups and maintain the complete sales pipeline
• Identify and pursue government tenders, RFPs, EOI opportunities, and relevant procurement opportunities
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, institutions, partners, and government stakeholders
• Attend conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and business meetings
• Travel for client meetings, government meetings, events, exhibitions, and other business requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of business opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, meetings, proposals, and closures
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities
• Prepare regular business development reports for management
