About the Role
Globcom Solutions is looking for an experienced SEO Team Lead to lead our SEO team and oversee SEO strategies across multiple international client campaigns.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong Technical SEO expertise, excellent communication skills and proven experience managing people and coordinating with development, design, content and project management teams.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership
● Lead, mentor and support the SEO team.
● Allocate tasks, set priorities and monitor team performance.
● Review work to maintain quality and ensure deadlines are met.
● Develop SEO SOPs, checklists and internal processes.
● Train junior team members and identify areas for improvement. Technical SEO
● Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and identify technical issues.
● Manage crawling, indexing, sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, redirects, internal linking and structured data.
● Analyse Core Web Vitals, page speed and website performance.
● Investigate Google Search Console issues.
● Use tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush and SE Ranking for SEO analysis.
● Work closely with developers to implement and QA technical SEO recommendations. Website & SEO Strategy
● Provide SEO requirements for new websites, redesigns and migrations.
● Review staging websites and conduct pre- and post-launch SEO checks.
● Develop and review keyword, content, on-page and internal linking strategies.
● Monitor rankings, organic traffic, leads and conversions.
● Identify underperforming campaigns and recommend corrective actions. Analytics & Industry Trends
● Work with Google Search Console, GA4, GTM, Looker Studio and SEO tools.
● Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and developments in AI-powered search.
● Explore AI and automation to improve SEO research, auditing and workflows.
