Software Developer - 1–3 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js.

• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

• Design and manage relational databases using PostgreSQL.

• Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data handling.

• Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs and third-party services.

• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

• Optimize applications and database queries for performance and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other team members throughout the development lifecycle.

• Follow coding standards, security practices, and version control processes.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Good understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.

• Experience with database design, joins, indexing, and query optimization.

• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Experience with Git and version control workflows.

• Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of TypeScript is an added advantage.

• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux or Context API.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and application deployment.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes is a plus.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is an advantage.

Experience

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in software development.

• Candidates should have practical experience working with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL on real-world applications.

• Experience handling both front-end and back-end development responsibilities is preferred.
