We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 15+ years of professional experience to lead the design, development, and support of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and enterprise application development. This role requires a technical leader who can guide a small development team, drive technical excellence, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions while supporting modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers by providing technical guidance, mentoring, code reviews, and ensuring adherence to development best practices.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and release activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and system configurations.
- Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to secure coding standards.
- Support application modernization initiatives, including framework upgrades, performance optimization, and adoption of modern development practices.
