About the Role
We are hiring a Senior QA Engineer to test enterprise web applications, APIs, and backend systems. The role combines hands-on manual testing with C#-based automation using Selenium and Playwright. The selected candidate will work with business stakeholders, onsite partners, developers, and QA teams to keep quality high across projects and releases.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Carry out manual and automation testing for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
• Work with business stakeholders, onsite partners, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and support quality delivery.
• Review business requirements, identify test scenarios, and confirm sufficient test coverage.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts in C# using Selenium and Playwright.
• Perform REST API testing and automation.
• Validate data integrity and backend workflows through SQL-based database testing.
• Take part in requirement reviews, test planning, test-case creation, execution, and defect management.
• Investigate application issues, debug test failures, and raise clear defect reports.
• Keep automated regression suites current and help improve QA processes.
• Support testing across multiple projects and releases.
Required Experience
• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in both manual testing and test automation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with onsite and offshore teams.
• Ability to understand business processes quickly and spot quality risks and gaps.
• Strong programming skills in C#.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Selenium automation.
• 1–2 years of hands-on Playwright automation.
• Experience with REST API testing and API automation.
• Experience with database testing and writing SQL queries.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience handling testing across multiple projects is preferred.
