About the Role
Marvelloux Apps Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Design Project Manager with strong design knowledge and experience in managing service-based design projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects from requirement gathering to final delivery, coordinating with clients and design teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and with high quality.
The role will also involve training and mentoring internship students, providing them with practical exposure to industry projects and professional design workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end design projects from requirement gathering to final delivery.
- Understand client requirements and prepare clear project briefs.
- Coordinate with UI/UX designers, graphic designers, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Plan project timelines, allocate tasks, and track deliverables.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Communicate with clients and provide regular project updates.
- Coordinate client feedback, revisions, and approvals.
- Review design deliverables and ensure they meet project requirements.
- Identify project risks, delays, and dependencies and take corrective action.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Maintain project documentation, task trackers, and status reports.
- Ensure smooth coordination between clients, designers, and internal teams.
- Support continuous improvement of project and design delivery processes.
Internship Training & Mentoring
- Train and mentor UI/UX and graphic design internship students.
- Provide practical, project-based training and industry exposure.
- Guide interns in understanding real-world client requirements and project workflows.
- Assign and monitor practical design projects and tasks.
- Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Guide students in developing professional portfolios and case studies.
- Help interns understand deadlines, revisions, documentation, and professional communication.
- Conduct project evaluations and provide performance feedback.
- Identify skill gaps and provide appropriate mentoring and guidance.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Design Project Management, Creative Project Management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX, graphic design, branding, or digital design.
- Experience managing service-based/client projects.
- Strong project planning and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and client-management skills.
- Ability to understand design requirements and provide meaningful design feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in training or mentoring design students/interns will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
