Brief Description

Key Responsibilities

  • BSP Ownership – Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of the embedded Linux BSP and platform software.
  • Platform Development – Develop and integrate bootloaders, Linux kernel, Device Trees, and device drivers.
  • Hardware Integration – Lead board bring-up, hardware/software integration, and system validation.
  • Platform Architecture – Build and maintain a reusable, scalable software platform supporting multiple products.
  • Technical Leadership – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive platform development from prototype through production.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in BSP development, embedded systems engineering, and board bring-up.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++; Python experience is an advantage.
  • Extensive experience with embedded Linux, including BSP development, Linux kernel, Device Trees, and U-Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with ARM Cortex-A and/or Cortex-M processors.
  • Experience with RTOSs such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or similar (advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of embedded interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, GPIO, CAN) and low-level device driver development.
  • Experience working with embedded Linux BSPs and build environments such as NXP Linux SDK (Debian), Yocto, Buildroot, or similar.
  • Experience with NXP i.MX processors is an advantage.
  • Work closely with silicon vendors and external BSP partners during board bring-up and platform integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • English – high proficiency.

Preferred Skills
