About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Tester (QA Engineer) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 0 months to 1 year of experience in manual testing and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC). You will work closely with developers, project managers, and designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and prepare test scenarios.

Create, review, and execute test cases.

Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools.

Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
-
Conduct functional, integration, usability, smoke, and sanity testing.

Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and QA discussions.

Ensure products meet quality standards before release.

Prepare daily and weekly testing status reports.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when required.
Required Skills

0 months to 1 year of experience in Software Testing.

Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC.

Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts.

Experience in writing test cases and test scenarios.

Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.

Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar.

Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing tools like Postman.

Knowledge of SQL basics for database validation.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, Playwright) is an advantage.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Experience testing Flutter, Android, iOS, or web applications.

Basic understanding of Git version control.
Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, MCA, B.Tech, or a related field.
