Job Description
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce Platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, custom objects, standard objects, workflows, validation rules, profiles, roles, and business processes.
- Experienced in Manual Testing across Salesforce applications, including Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, test plans, and test execution reports to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Hands-on experience validating Salesforce configurations, including page layouts, flows, validation rules, approval processes, reports, dashboards, and security settings.
- Proficient in API Testing (REST/SOAP) and integration validation to ensure seamless data exchange between Salesforce and external applications.
- Strong knowledge of SOQL/SOSL for data validation, record verification, and troubleshooting within Salesforce environments.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Management tools such as Data Loader and Workbench for data migration, data validation, import/export, and testing support activities.
- Skilled in Defect Management and Test Management using tools such as Jira, Xray, and Zephyr, including defect logging, tracking, retesting, and reporting.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Knowledge of Salesforce release management processes and validation of deployments across sandbox and production environments.
- Strong collaboration skills with Business Analysts, Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Product Owners, and End Users to clarify requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to understand Salesforce application functionality and testing needs.
- Create, review, and maintain detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform manual testing of Salesforce applications across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud environments.
- Execute Functional, Regression, Smoke, System, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure application quality and business process validation.
- Validate Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, page layouts, workflows, flows, validation rules, approval processes, reports, and dashboards.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of Salesforce business processes and integrations with external systems.
- Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) to validate data exchanges and integration points between Salesforce and third-party applications.
- Use SOQL/SOSL queries to verify data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and validate test results.
- Validate data migration and data quality using Salesforce tools such as Data Loader and Workbench.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution and retesting of fixes.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Product Owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Execute deployment validation and post-release testing in sandbox and production environments.
- Prepare and maintain test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards, testing best practices, and organizational quality processes.
- Support UAT activities by coordinating with business users, tracking issues, and facilitating successful sign-off.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and quality.
