Brief Description

Ferns IT Solutions is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and detail-oriented QA Engineer / Software Tester with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Manual, Automation, and AI-assisted Software Testing.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of software quality throughout the entire product lifecycle—from requirement analysis and test planning to production deployment and post-release validation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure every release is stable, secure, reliable, and delivers an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end Manual Testing for Web, Mobile, and API applications.
  • Design, prepare, review, and execute Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Checklists, and Test Scripts.
  • Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, System, End-to-End (E2E), Cross-Browser, Cross-Platform, Exploratory, UAT, and API Testing.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute Automation Test Scripts.
  • Continuously improve automation coverage and testing efficiency.
  • Validate application functionality, business requirements, usability, and user experience.
  • Perform database validation and data verification where required.
  • Identify, document, track, verify, and retest software defects.
  • Validate bug fixes before production deployment.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, estimation, and QA activities.
  • Ensure complete traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Perform deployment validation and post-release testing.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Project Managers, Designers, Business Analysts, DevOps Engineers, and Clients.
  • Maintain QA documentation, execution reports, release reports, and quality metrics.
  • Support CI/CD quality validation activities.
  • Utilize AI-assisted testing techniques to improve productivity and quality.
  • Investigate production issues, validate fixes, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure reliable, stable, and high-quality software through proactive testing and customer-focused quality assurance.

  • Knowledge of AI-assisted software testing concepts.
  • Understanding of AI-driven test generation, intelligent automation, and defect prediction.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic knowledge of Performance, Security, Accessibility, Compatibility, and Usability Testing.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing environments is an added advantage.
  • Passion for continuous learning and adopting modern QA practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in Software Testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and Bug Life Cycle.
  • Experience in Web, Mobile, and API Testing.
  • Knowledge of automation testing concepts and frameworks.
  • Basic SQL and database validation knowledge.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools and project management systems.
  • Understanding of CI/CD environments is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to independently manage QA activities and meet project deadlines.

Walk-in Interview Eligibility

Only candidates who meet the following criteria should attend the walk-in interview:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in Software Testing.
  • Hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
  • Good knowledge of Web, Mobile, and API Testing.
  • Sound understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and software testing methodologies.
  • Candidates who closely match the above requirements are encouraged to attend.

Walk-In Entry Pass

Candidates are requested to apply for the entry Pass to Technopark Campus to attend the Walk-In interview through mobile app/ web browser. Once the pass is applied, the entry pass will be sent to their registered mobile number/ e-mail id. The softcopy of the entry pass can be shown on their gadgets at Technopark Entrance Gate to enter into the Campus.

Candidates who do not have a smartphone can print their hardcopy of the entry pass on the scheduled date of the interview from the self-operating Kiosks placed at the Reception Building near TECHNOPARK Main Gate by using the 5 digit OTP (One Time Password) received as SMS/ e-mail.
