Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Halliburton Landmark Engineers Desktop Suite (EDT) and drilling engineering applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating engineering workflows, desktop software functionality, engineering calculations, data integrity, and system integrations while ensuring high-quality software releases. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of drilling engineering concepts, Landmark desktop applications, and software testing methodologies with good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, System, and UAT testing.
- Engineering Calculations Validation across the applications.
- Data validation, integration, API and database testing
- Software installation upgrade testing whenever required.
- Software Manual/automation testing (Preferred)
- Validate end-to-end engineering workflows across the Engineers Desktop Suite.
- Ensure software complies with business and engineering requirements.
