You will be responsible for designing scalable database structures, writing optimized stored procedures, and ensuring high-performance data operations. This role requires strong SQL fundamentals, performance tuning expertise, and the ability to collaborate with application teams.

Experience: Minimum 3 years

Location: Trivandrum

Preferred Skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, normalize, and optimize database schemas for enterprise applications.
  • Develop stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and other database objects.
  • Perform query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
  • Diagnose and resolve database performance issues, deadlocks, and slow queries.
  • Implement appropriate indexing, partitioning, and high-availability strategies.
  • Support developers by optimizing SQL queries used by applications.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and backup/restore operations.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with T-SQL and relational database design.
  • Expertise in writing clean, optimized stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and SQL profiling tools.
  • Understanding of transactions, isolation levels, and concurrency control.
  • Knowledge of database versioning tools and Git-based workflows.
  • Experience working with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL .
