Brief Description

Marketing Trainee - MBA Marketing

Softnotions Technologies · Thiruvananthapuram · On-site · Duration: 3 month  · Marketing Department

A hands-on way to learn how B2B marketing works

This is a learning-focused internship designed for MBA Marketing students, marketing graduates, and recent graduates who want practical exposure to how a real marketing function operates.

At Softnotions, you'll get a close look at how targeted outbound marketing works: how the right companies are identified, how decision makers are found, and how outreach strategy turns a cold name into a real conversation. We market a software company to clients across the world, and this internship gives you a front row seat to the research, targeting, and LinkedIn led outreach behind it. If you want to understand how B2B deals actually get sourced, this is a great place to learn it.

What you'll learn and get exposure to

How to research and build lists of prospective clients using LinkedIn and other tools.
How to identify decision makers inside target companies and map out who to reach.
How outreach messaging and follow up sequences are crafted to get replies.
How market and competitor analysis sharpens targeting.
How to build the decks and supporting materials used in outreach and pitches.
How lead generation works, from list building through to the first conversation.
How outreach performance is tracked and reported, including response rates and conversions.
How a marketing and business development team works together day to day.
You'll work alongside the team on these activities under guidance, with plenty of room to ask questions and learn by doing.
