We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager with a B.Tech in Electronics Engineering and 15+ years of progressive experience in procurement, vendor management, and supply chain operations within the electronics manufacturing/EMS/consumer electronics sector. The ideal candidate will lead strategic sourcing, drive cost optimization, and ensure uninterrupted supply of electronic components, PCBs, semiconductors, and related materials while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Education
B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Electronics & Communication.
Experience
Minimum 15 years in purchase/sourcing, with at least 5 years in managerial role. Must be from electronics manufacturing, EMS, automotive electronics, telecom, or consumer electronics industry
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of electronic components, semiconductors, BOMs, datasheets, lifecycle management. Familiarity with IPC standards, ESD practices
Commercial Skills
Expertise in negotiation, contract management, import procedures, INCOTERMS, GST, customs duty structures
Soft Skills
Leadership, vendor relationship management, analytical thinking, decision-making under component shortage scenarios
