About the Role

BeyonGen Acumen Private Limited (BGA) is seeking an experienced Chrome Enterprise Administrator to manage the complete lifecycle of ChromeOS devices across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for enterprise device provisioning, deployment, policy management, application deployment, endpoint security, lifecycle management, and ongoing operational support for ChromeOS devices.

This role is the Google ecosystem equivalent of a Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (Intune Administrator) and requires strong expertise in Google Workspace, Chrome Enterprise, enterprise endpoint management, automation, and modern cloud-based device administration.

Key Responsibilities

Chrome Enterprise Administration

·      Administer and manage Chrome Enterprise environments through Google Admin Console.

·      Manage ChromeOS devices across multiple organizational units.

·      Configure and maintain enterprise-wide device policies.

·      Administer Chrome Browser Cloud Management.

·      Manage Chrome Enterprise licenses and subscriptions.

·      Configure organizational units, user groups, delegated administration, and administrative roles.

·      Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

Enterprise Device Deployment & Provisioning

·      Deploy ChromeOS devices using Zero-Touch Enrollment (ZTE).

·      Configure automatic device enrollment and forced re-enrollment.

·      Build standardized enterprise deployment profiles for ChromeOS devices.

·      Configure Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE).

·      Provision devices remotely without manual IT intervention.

·      Perform large-scale Chromebook rollouts.

·      Prepare, stage, and deploy new devices to end users.

·      Configure shared devices, kiosk devices, and managed guest sessions.

·      Manage device refresh and replacement programs.

·      Perform secure device decommissioning and retirement.

Remote Endpoint Management

·      Remotely manage enterprise ChromeOS devices.

·      Configure and troubleshoot devices through Google Admin Console.

·      Perform remote device lock, wipe, disable, and recovery.

·      Monitor endpoint health and compliance.

·      Apply remote configuration changes.

·      Troubleshoot device enrollment issues.

·      Support remote workforce deployments.

·      Maintain enterprise fleet health and operational availability.

Chrome Browser Applications

·      Deploy Chrome browser applications.

·      Deploy and manage Chrome Extensions.

·      Force-install enterprise extensions.

·      Configure browser permissions.

·      Remove unauthorized extensions.

·      Manage browser security policies.

Android Enterprise Applications

·      Deploy applications using Managed Google Play.

·      Configure silent application installation.

·      Manage application permissions.

·      Deploy mandatory enterprise applications.

·      Configure application restrictions.

·      Manage application updates.

Progressive Web Applications (PWAs)

·      Deploy enterprise PWAs.

·      Configure automatic installation.

·      Configure offline access.

·      Manage application lifecycle.

Endpoint Security & Compliance

·      Implement Chrome Enterprise security best practices.

·      Configure endpoint encryption.

·      Manage Verified Boot.

·      Configure Safe Browsing.

·      Configure Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies where applicable.

·      Manage endpoint verification.

·      Configure password and authentication policies.

·      Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

·      Configure Context-Aware Access.

·      Deploy security certificates.

·      Monitor compliance status.

·      Generate security and audit reports.

·      Respond to endpoint security incidents.

 

Operating System & Patch Management

·      Manage ChromeOS release channels.

·      Configure Long-Term Support (LTS) channels.

·      Schedule operating system updates.

·      Perform phased deployment of updates.

·      Test ChromeOS releases before production rollout.

·      Monitor update compliance.

·      Coordinate rollback strategies where necessary.

Google Workspace Administration

·      Manage users and groups.

·      Configure Organizational Units.

·      Administer Cloud Identity.

·      Configure Single Sign-On (SSO).

·      Manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

·      Configure user provisioning.

·      Manage security policies.

·      Administer Chrome Browser Cloud Management.

 

Automation & Scripting

·      Automate routine administrative tasks.

·      Utilize Google Admin SDK.

·      Work with Chrome Management APIs.

·      Use GAM (Google Apps Manager) for administration.

·      Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python where appropriate.

·      Maintain deployment documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Monitoring & Reporting

·      Monitor enterprise device health.

·      Generate compliance reports.

·      Track application deployment status.

·      Monitor security posture.

·      Track software update compliance.

·      Maintain asset inventory.

·      Monitor license utilization.

·      Produce operational dashboards and audit reports.

 

Asset & Lifecycle Management

Manage the complete device lifecycle including:

·      Device enrollment

·      Device provisioning

·      Device assignment

·      Hardware inventory

·      License management

·      Warranty tracking

·      Device replacement

·      Asset recovery

·      Secure wipe

·      Device retirement

 

Technical Support

Provide Level 2 / Level 3 support for:
