Delivery Manager
· Prime responsibility of the Delivery Manager should be to ensure timely project delivery with high quality levels, overseeing delivery of multiple projects
· Monitoring and managing work progress of multiple project managers, stepping in where needed to address issues/conflicts
· High-level involvement in the full lifecycle of projects right from planning till closure, with good technical knowledge to deep dive into projects as needed
· Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process – prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team
· Provide thought leadership to the team members in addressing project issues/risks and driving progress
· Build up a proper team of engineers for a project while balancing the resourcing needs of multiple projects. The Delivery Manager should consider the requirements and timelines for multiple projects and take hiring decisions as required, ensuring availability of the required resources for project completion
· Manage resource conflicts as per the project priority while ensuring optimum utilization of the organizational resources,
· Ensure that teams maintain high level of competence and operational excellence
· Establish the required quality assurance techniques to assure clients of consistent and predictable high-quality deliverables
· Act as a main point of contact, communicating effectively across organizational (IN & NL), technical and business levels
· Act as an interface between ARS IN Project Management and NL project management as required to provide required support, act as the first level of escalation and ensure any issues are mitigated promptly. Escalate to senior management for support/resolution as required.
· Identify and address issues, risks and dependencies across multiple projects and put in place viable risk management strategies to maintain delivery momentum and timelines
· Provide regular status reports to senior management on project progress and profitability
· Support pre-sales activities like understanding customer’s business needs, analyzing technical requirements, reviewing existing architecture and proposing technical solutions
· Collaborate with senior management on introducing/improving project and organizational processes or policies to drive positive change across all levels.
· Support PMO function and resource management/allocation
