Brief Description

The Senior Full Stack Engineer (Angular & Node.js) position at Eartheye Space is an immediate joining opportunity.

Eartheye Space is a fast-paced organisation. You will be accountable for the timely delivery of both front-end and back-end application requirements of the Eartheye platform. You will work collaboratively with computer vision/machine learning engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Angular and Node.js. 

Your Expertise Includes

  • Have worked on Angular 2+ and Node.js in at least three projects

  • You are an expert in UI/UX (responsive) design

  • Strong experience in Leaflet.js to build interactive, user-friendly web mapping applications. 

  • Highly experienced in working with APIs

  • Worked on a high-performance, scalable internet or enterprise application

  • Worked in the AWS cloud environment

  • Have worked with GDAL, Rasterio, GeoPandas or similar

  • Have worked in a containerised application environment

  • Have expert knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB

Preferred Skills

You should have:

  • At least five years of experience in Angular and  Node.js. Please don’t apply if you don’t have the required experience; we won’t get in touch with you

  • Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar

  • Worked in a micro-release environment. By our requirements, 2-3 feature releases per week

  • Must be able to solve complex problems under tight timelines

  • Highly attentive to detail

  • Experience using GenAI

  • Research-driven and self-motivated

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Able to work in an agile environment with constant change

  • Clear communication skills—both spoken and written English
