Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong banking domain expertise and hands-on experience working with Oracle Flexcube. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving requirements analysis, process optimization, system enhancements, integrations, and successful delivery of core banking initiatives.
This role requires a deep understanding of banking operations, core banking processes, and Oracle Flexcube modules. The candidate will play a key role in gathering business requirements, performing functional analysis, supporting testing activities, and ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis & Documentation

Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements.

Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), user stories, process flows, and functional use cases.

Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement review sessions to ensure clarity and completeness of requirements.
Business Process & Gap Analysis

Analyze existing ("As-Is") business processes and define future-state ("To-Be") workflows.

Perform fit-gap analysis to assess Oracle Flexcube capabilities against business requirements.

Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend functional solutions aligned with business objectives.
Oracle Flexcube Functional Expertise

Act as a functional SME for Oracle Flexcube and support implementation, enhancement, migration, upgrade, and integration initiatives.

Work closely with technical teams to define functional requirements across key Flexcube modules such as CASA, Loans, Deposits, Payments, and related banking functions.

Support integration requirements involving digital banking channels, external applications, APIs, payment systems, and third-party platforms.
Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with business users, operations teams, project managers, technology teams, vendors, and implementation partners.

Facilitate discussions to resolve functional issues, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.

Provide regular updates and support decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing & Delivery Support

Define and review test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.

Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect triage activities.

Coordinate with business and technical teams to ensure successful resolution of issues prior to production deployment.

Assist in go-live planning, user training, and post-implementation support activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.

4–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Banking or Financial Services domain.

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience working on Oracle Flexcube implementation, upgrade, migration, enhancement, or support projects.

Strong understanding of core banking operations and banking products.

Experience working with one or more banking domains such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, Lending, Payments, or Deposits.

Proven experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, functional documentation, and stakeholder management.

Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and production rollout activities.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Core Banking Transformation, Digital Banking, or Banking Modernization programs.

Exposure to API integrations, middleware platforms, and third-party banking applications.

Understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and operational controls.

Experience working in multi-vendor or large-scale enterprise banking environments.
