We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Software Tester with at least 1 year of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, and ensuring that software products meet quality standards before release.
Responsibilities:
- Perform unit testing to ensure individual components meet specified requirements.
- Conduct functional testing to validate software features and business requirements.
- Execute smoke and sanity testing to verify the stability of new builds.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test matrices.
- Create and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure complete test coverage.
- Log, track, and manage defects using Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test cases for functional and non-functional testing.
- Conduct testing of web and mobile applications across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices.
- Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies.
