We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Full-Stack Developer with 1–2 years of experience to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers to build, maintain, and scale our web applications using React.js and Node.js. Key Responsibilities
- Feature Development: Implement responsive, component-driven user interfaces in React.js based on design mockups.
- API Integration & Creation: Build and maintain clean, straightforward RESTful API endpoints using Node.js and Express.
- Database Operations: Write efficient database queries and assist in managing relational (SQL) or NoSQL data models.
- Bug Fixing & Maintenance: Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across both frontend and backend layers of the stack.
- Code Quality: Write readable, documented code and implement basic unit tests to ensure stability.
- Team Collaboration: Participate actively in daily standups, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions to learn from senior peers.
Required Technical Skills
- Core Languages: Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern HTML5/CSS3.
- Frontend: Professional or internship experience building web apps with React.js.
- Backend: Familiarity with server-side development using Node.js and Express.js.
- Databases: Basic experience handling database queries (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).
- Tools: Good understanding of Git version control and GitHub command workflows.
Preferred/Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with React state management tools (Context API, Redux Toolkit).
- Basic understanding of writing tests using Jest or React Testing Library.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or container tools like Docker.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional software development experience (including software internships).
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or completion of a reputable coding bootcamp.
- Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a high motivation to learn new technologies quickly.
