Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced PHP Developer for product development who can take ownership of projects, lead the development team, and contribute to building scalable and efficient applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PHP frameworks including CodeIgniter, Laravel, and Yii along with MySQL database management. The candidate must possess leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand and improve existing development strategies and workflows.
This role requires a proactive individual who can manage development activities independently while ensuring proper documentation, code quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Development
* Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP
* Work extensively with CodeIgniter, Laravel, Yii Framework, and MySQL
* Develop reusable modules and optimized backend systems
* Handle API integrations, third-party services, and database optimization
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
Product Development & Ownership
* Take complete ownership of assigned modules and product features
* Understand current product architecture and development strategies
* Suggest improvements in application performance, security, and scalability
* Ensure product stability and long-term maintainability
Team Leadership
* Lead and guide junior developers and development teams
* Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
* Coordinate with management, UI/UX teams, QA teams, and stakeholders
* Participate in technical planning and sprint discussions
Documentation & Communication
* Create and maintain proper technical documentation
* Prepare system flow diagrams, API documentation, and development notes
* Communicate project updates, risks, and technical decisions clearly
* Maintain professional communication within teams and clients
