Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Microsoft 365 & Endpoint Security Administrator to manage, secure, and support our Microsoft cloud environment and endpoint infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, identity and access management, and Microsoft security technologies.
This role is responsible for maintaining secure and reliable Microsoft 365 services, supporting end users, managing device deployments through Intune and Autopilot, and implementing security best practices across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure operational excellence, security compliance, and continuous improvement of the IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Administration
· Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including:
· Exchange Online
· Microsoft Teams
· SharePoint Online
· Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
· Create, manage, and maintain user accounts, groups, permissions, and access controls
· Manage Microsoft 365 licensing, subscriptions, and resource allocation
· Monitor Microsoft 365 service health and respond to incidents and outages
· Troubleshoot issues related to authentication, email delivery, collaboration services, and user access
Endpoint Management & Intune Administration
· Design, configure, and manage endpoint environments using Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager
· Deploy and manage devices using Windows Autopilot
· Create and maintain:
· Configuration profiles
· Compliance policies
· Device restrictions
· Endpoint security policies
· Package, deploy, and maintain applications through Intune
· Monitor device compliance and ensure adherence to organizational security standards
· Support endpoint lifecycle management including provisioning, updates, and decommissioning
Security & Compliance
· Monitor and respond to security alerts, phishing incidents, and endpoint threats using Microsoft security platforms
· Implement and maintain:
· Conditional Access policies
· Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
· Identity protection policies
· Security baselines
· Manage email security configurations including:
· DKIM
· DMARC
· SPF
· Anti-spam and anti-phishing policies
· Support Microsoft Defender security solutions and investigate security incidents
· Assist with security audits, compliance initiatives, and risk mitigation activities
Helpdesk & User Support
· Provide Level 2 / Level 3 support for Microsoft 365 and endpoint-related issues
· Troubleshoot:
· Email issues
· Login and authentication problems
· Device enrollment issues
· Application deployment failures
· Service disruptions
· Respond to incidents based on defined priority and SLA requirements
· Liaise with Microsoft support and third-party vendors where necessary
· Support end users through onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day technical assistance
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
· Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles
· Prepare operational reports and system status updates
· Recommend and implement improvements to enhance performance, security, and user experience
· Stay updated with Microsoft technologies, security best practices, and modern workplace trends
