We are looking for a Manual Tester with 1–2 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of manual testing concepts, test case preparation, defect tracking, and should be willing to learn Automation Testing using Selenium.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and functional specifications.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- Identify, report, and track bugs/issues using defect management tools.
- Coordinate with developers and business teams for issue resolution.
- Validate fixes and perform retesting.
- Ensure software quality and adherence to requirements.
- Learn and support automation testing activities using Selenium.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle.
- Experience in Manual Testing of web or mobile applications.
- Knowledge of writing and executing test cases.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn Selenium Automation Testing.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of Selenium is an added advantage.
