Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on IT Support & Operations Engineer to manage day-to-day IT operations and user support across our organization. This role will work closely with the Head of IT (CISO) and act as the first point of contact for all IT-related matters, while also supporting core systems such as Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, and internal applications. The focus of this role is execution, responsiveness, and ownership of daily IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
End-User Support (Primary Responsibility)
• Act as the first point of contact for all IT issues (hardware, software, access, network)
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues efficiently (onsite/remote)
• Setup and configure laptops, mobile devices, and user environments
• Handle onboarding and offboarding (account creation, access assignment, device setup)
Microsoft 365 & Device Management
• Manage users, licenses, and groups in Microsoft 365
• Support Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive issues
• Manage devices via Intune (enrollment, compliance, basic policies)
• Support MFA, password resets, and access-related issues
SaaS & Internal Systems Support
• Manage user access across SaaS tools (CRM, HR, internal systems)
• Support day-to-day usage issues and basic troubleshooting
• Assist in maintaining internal systems including ERP and web-based applications
• Coordinate with vendors or internal teams when needed
Basic Cloud & Infrastructure Support
• Perform routine checks on AWS/Azure environments (VM status, uptime, monitoring)
• Assist in backups, storage checks, and basic network configurations
• Escalate complex issues to Head of IT when required
Security & IT Operations
• Ensure users follow IT policies (MFA, device compliance, access control)
• Assist in monitoring alerts and reporting suspicious activities
• Support implementation of basic security controls
• Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and SOPs
Role Boundaries
This role IS responsible for:
• Daily IT operations
• User support
• System administration (basic to intermediate)
This role is NOT responsible for:
• Infrastructure architecture
• Security strategy decisions
• Major system changes without approval

• Reduced dependency on Head of IT
• Smooth onboarding/offboarding
• Stable day-to-day IT operations
