Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel to client locations as required

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Linux Administrator with 1–2 years of experience to manage and maintain our Linux infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in server administration, system security, and basic cloud and DevOps practices. This role requires working from the office in Trivandrum and occasional travel to client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
Implement and manage security measures including firewalls, patching, and access control
Perform regular system backups and support disaster recovery planning
Configure and manage web and network services such as Apache, Nginx, DNS, and FTP
Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution
Collaborate with internal teams and support client requirements during onsite visits

Preferred Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1–2 years of experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
Good understanding of networking concepts and system security
Experience in managing web servers and related services
Basic scripting knowledge (Bash or Shell scripting preferred)

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
Familiarity with monitoring tools and automation

Certifications:

RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certification is highly preferred

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
