Job Summary:
We are looking for an L1 Security Engineer to support Security Projects including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), security operations and log monitoring. The role focuses on initial alert monitoring, basic analysis, and timely escalation of security incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor DLP alerts (Email, Endpoint) and identify potential data leakage incidents.
· Perform initial analysis and triage of DLP and security alerts.
· Monitor security logs through SIEM/SecOps tools for suspicious activities.
· Escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams as per defined procedures.
· Acknowledge and respond to alerts within defined SLAs.
· Maintain incident records and update tracking systems/tickets.
· Assist in report generation (daily/weekly security reports).
· Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident handling.
· Coordinate with internal teams for basic issue resolution and validation.
Experience:
· 1–2 years of experience in SOC / IT Security / Monitoring
Working Location- Trivandrum, Kerala.
