We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated fresher to join our QA team as a Software Tester. You will be responsible for testing applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring the product meets quality standards before release.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct unit testing to ensure individual components meet specified requirements.
2. Perform functional testing to validate the functionality of software features.
3. Execute smoke tests to verify basic functionality and stability of new builds.
4. Conduct regression tests to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
5. Prepare test matrices to effectively plan and manage testing activities.
6. Create and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to track requirements and test coverage.
7. Utilize Jira or similar tools for test case management, defect tracking, and project management.
8. Demonstrate understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
9. Apply knowledge of Agile methodology to participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
10. Write clear and comprehensive test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
11. Possess expertise in testing both web applications and mobile applications across different platforms and devices.
