Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and disciplined Business Development Executive based in India to support our Way+ sales organization. This role is responsible for outbound and inbound prospecting, qualifying automotive service businesses, and setting high-quality meetings for Account Executives.

This is not a script-reading role. Successful candidates will understand the value proposition, think critically about fit, and act as trusted first-touch representatives of the Way+ brand.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and CRM-based workflows
  • Qualify inbound leads from demos, long-form calls, and partner referrals
  • Identify decision-makers and understand shop ownership structures
  • Clearly articulate Way+ value propositions to US-based auto service businesses
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking in CRM and dialer tools
  • Meet or exceed weekly activity, qualification, and meeting targets
  • Collaborate closely with US-based BD leadership and AEs

Preferred Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, BDE, or lead qualification roles
  • Prior experience selling or prospecting into US markets strongly preferred
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with US business owners and operators
  • Coachable, process-oriented, and metrics-driven
  • Able to handle objections and navigate longer conversations
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales dialers is a plus

Quota and Compensation Structure

  • Monthly quota based on number of shops listed
  • Commission paid per completed and approved listing
  • Base salary aligned to India market for junior BDE roles
  • Total compensation lower than Way+ BDE roles due to narrower scope and deal complexity
