We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer with a strong foundation in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Playwright with Javascript/Python, Selenium with Java and JMeter with a proven ability to design, develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks. The candidate will work closely with development and product teams to ensure the highest quality of software delivery across multiple projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/Python), Selenium WebDriver (Java), and JMeter.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing including functional, regression, integration, smoke and UAT testing.
- Create detailed, well-structured test plans, test cases and test execution reports.
- Identify, document and track defects using standard bug reporting tools such as JIRA.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts and project managers during all phases of SDLC.
- Participate actively in scrum ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide actionable feedback to the development team.
- Review requirements and user stories to ensure testability and provide early quality feedback.
- Perform API testing and support performance and load testing activities when required.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to improving overall QA processes and standards.
- Ensure timely communication of testing status, risks and blockers to the QA Lead and project stakeholders
