Brief Description

Introduction

We are looking for 2+years experienced candidates for this role.

Responsibilities include:
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for client product
  • Build effective monitoring and alerts for the Production and non-productions deployments of client products
  • Perform planned deployments using Blue-Green strategy with Zero downtime
  • Deploy Emergency hot fixes as and when required
  • Perform routine security patching of the OS, VMs and other software components
  • Ensure that the Disaster Recovery Plan is up-to-date and orchestrate periodic DR testing
  • Perform automatic backup / restore of production database
  • Use best practices in DevOps for build, deploy and monitoring in a cost effective manner

Preferred Skills

Primary Skills :
  • Minimum 2 years of DevOps experience, preferably in a Software product company.
  • Has familiarity with the retail industry / domain.
  • GCP  with exposure to Azure/AWS 
  • Strong experience in CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins.
  • Hands-on expertise in containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps or BitBucket Pipelines
  • Knowledge of Containerization using Docker and  Container orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Excellent command over Source Configuration Management tools like GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab etc.
  • Exposure to Security hardening best practices like CIS benchmarks, IDS, IPS, Antivirus, Security patching, Network configuration et al.
  • Knowledge of SonarQube or similar tools for static code scanning
  • Exposure to security hardening of the computing & networking infrastructure
  • Exposure to maintaining infrastructure components in a multi data center setup
Secondary Skills :
  • Java, JSP, JavaScript, XML, REST APIs, XSLT

  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
