Software Engineer - C++

Job Role

 What is the expectation of the candidate’s current role/profile?

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in C/C++ application development.
• Practical experience working with MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting language: Python/ PowerShell / Batch scripting / VB Script
• Exposure to HTML and JavaScript, preferably for form-driven or interview-style applications.
• Experience in designing and writing unit tests to validate business logic, ensure regulatory accuracy, and maintain code quality.
• Ability to understand and implement regulatory and business logic, with high accuracy.
• Prior experience or familiarity with US Tax regulations or tax software is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, SVN or Perforce
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
