We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Test Engineer with strong experience in web application testing, API testing, and end-to-end validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, with the ability to ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute test cases to validate functional and technical requirements.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web applications across browsers and devices.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and user stories.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, performance, usability, and stress testing.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
- Identify, document, and track defects/bugs, and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- Re-test resolved issues to ensure complete defect closure.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Playwright (as required).
- Document test results and prepare test reports for stakeholders.
- Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and demonstrate application functionalities when required.
- Ensure awareness and basic implementation of accessibility testing (WCAG compliance).
