We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our expanding team and help drive our cloud engineering initiatives.
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer with a strong specialization in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. You will play a critical role in implementing, managing, and securing cloud environments for our business and our clients. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in cloud migrations, endpoint security, and IT infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and optimize M365 tenants, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Oversee migrations (e.g., Google Workspace to M365) and ensure seamless user experiences.
- Azure Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure resources (Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, VPNs, Azure Storage, and Backup).
- Identity & Access Management: Manage Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including conditional access policies, SSO, and MFA configurations.
- Endpoint Management & Security: Oversee device enrollment and management using RMM tools. Implement Windows 11 hardening protocols and manage endpoint protection solutions (experience with Sophos is highly preferred).
- System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor infrastructure health, resolve Tier 2/Tier 3 technical escalations, and minimize downtime for mission-critical services.
- Automation: Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate routine administrative tasks and reporting.
- Mentorship & Escalation Management: Technically mentor the IT Helpdesk and Level 1 IT team on a day-to-day basis, acting as the definitive point of escalation to troubleshoot.
- Client Consultation: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their infrastructure needs, recommend best practices, and support technical deployments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in IT infrastructure, cloud or systems administration.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience architecting and supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Security Acumen: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, and data governance.
- Networking: Solid grasp of fundamental networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, Firewalls).
- Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Familiarity with Sophos security products and partner portals.
