Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Magento Developer with 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Magento development to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Magento-based eCommerce solutions with high performance, scalability, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 websites and modules
- Implement custom features, extensions, and integrations as per business requirements
- Optimize website performance, security, and scalability
- Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers
- Perform code reviews and ensure best coding practices are followed
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
- Manage Magento upgrades, patches, and version updates
- Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and APIs
- Handle server deployment activities and perform required server configurations/modifications
- Ensure compliance with Magento standards and eCommerce best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–7 years of strong experience in Magento 2 development
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Solid understanding of Magento architecture, EAV model, dependency injection, and plugins
- Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs and third-party integrations
- Knowledge of Git/version control systems
- Experience with performance optimization and security best practices
- Hands-on experience with server deployment, configuration, and server-level modifications
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
